Obituary for Douglas Hall
Douglas Hall, son of the late Hawk Hall and Danola Vanover Hall was born in Neon, Kentucky October 3, 1939. He entered eternal life Friday, August 7, 2015 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 75 years, 10 months and 4 days of age at the time of his passing. Doug married Willie Jo Kincer Hall March 15, 1975 in Haymond, Kentucky. He worked for Southeast/DLX coal company for 33 years. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marines. He loved traveling, going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and attending the annual Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He was an avid UK fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the Jenkins United Methodist Church He is survived by his loving wife, Willie Jo Hall of Jenkins, Kentucky. Two sons, Scotty (Brenda Chandler) Hall and Michael (Tammy) Hall both of Knoxville, Tennessee. One daughter, Kim (Jeff) Sergent of Mayking, Kentucky. Two brothers; Verling Hall of Mayking, Kentucky and Vernon Hall Jr. of Hemphill, Kentucky. Four grandchildren; Angela, Chelsie, Justin and Arwen. Three great grandchildren; Kaleb, Kaden and Adalyn. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Ernie Hall, Paul Henry Hall and Ronnie Hall.
