Obituary for Lewis Ray Boggs
Lewis Ray Boggs, son of Gerline Adams Spangler and the late Daryl Boggs was born on July 10, 1957 in Letcher County, Kentucky. He entered eternal life on Monday, December 8, 2014 being 57 years and 5 months of age at the time of his passing. He was the Assistant Pastor at Seco Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his wife, Connie Boggs of Letcher, Kentucky. His mother, Gerline Spangler of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two stepdaughters; Melody Shackleford of Lexington, Kentucky and Jamie Woods of Asher, Kentucky. One step-son James D. Woods of Letcher County, Kentucky. Three brothers; John Spangler of Camner, Kentucky, Alvin Spangler of Thornton, Kentucky and Roy Joe Spangler of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Three sisters; Betty Sexton of Cowan, Kentucky, Laura Boggs and Valerie Foley both of Indiana. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Boggs. A brother, Alex Spangler. A Stepfather; Riley Spangler.
