Obituary for Everett Kenneth Sexton, Jr
Everett Kenneth Sexton, Jr, son of the late Everett Kenneth Sexton and Ella Isaac Meade was born February 22, 1949 in Letcher County, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky being 65 years, 4 months, and 7 days of age at the time of his passing. Everett was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed many things, but spending time with his family and friends is what he enjoyed most. He was a member at the American Legion in Neon, Kentucky. He is survived by his loving son, Everett K. Sexton III, of Neon, Kentucky. One daughter, Toni Bentley of Neon, Kentucky. Two brothers, Troy Sexton and Tony Sexton both Jackhorn, Kentucky. Three sisters, Louvonne Spangler of Neon, Kentucky, Garnett Sexton of Hazard, Kentucky and Jean Andrews Laruel, Kentucky. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Shane Bentley, Logan Sexton, and Veronica Sexton and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He is preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Hiatt, Joann Spicer and Esther Hensley. One brother, Henry Bates.
