Obituary for Ralph D. Hall, Sr
Ralph D. Hall Sr., son of the late Bill and Claudia Jenkins Hall was born in Letcher County, Kentucky, June 10, 1929. He entered eternal life Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 84 years and 29 days of age at the time of his passing. Ralph was married to the late Jo Ann Moneyhun Hall. She passed away April 9, 1999. He was a member of the Whitesburg First Baptist Church, a former city councilman, Vice President of the Library Board, a Kentucky Colonel, Whitesburg V.F.W Post No. 5829 and a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army. Ralph was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He is survived by his son, Ralph (Scarlett) Hall Jr., of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One daughter, Kristi (Mike) Maggard of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Two grandchildren; Jack and Nick. One brother, Bob Hall of Georgia. One Sister, Shelia Hall of Jacksonville, Florida. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by three brothers; Jack, Bill and Raymond.
