Obituary for Charlene Collins
Charlene Annetta Collins, daughter of the late Willard "Pete" and Lillie Parker Collins was born at McRoberts, Kentucky January 2, 1937. She entered eternal life Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 82 years, 7 months and 23 days of age at the time of her passing.
Charlene married James Collins who grew up just across the road from her on August 2, 1962. She and Jim lived in Tennessee, Michigan, and Indiana before his death. When she moved back to Kentucky. Charlene loved old movies and could name all of the actors. People were always amazed at the all the things she could remember from the past.
She is survived by a sister, Cheryl Gibson and husband James of Lily, Kentucky. One brother, Clifford "Coopie" Collins and wife Betty of McRoberts, Kentucky. Three sister-in-laws; Wilma Gibson, Julie Collins and Donna Collins all of McRoberts, Kentucky.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and so many friends who were more like her family to mourn her passing.
Charlene was preceded in death by a brother,Clyde (Peewee) Collins.One sister,Cleo (Dean) Bartley and a niece,Denise(Suzie)Litton.
