Obituary for Hazel Ison
Hazel Marie Ison, daughter of the late Chester and Rachel Toler Thomas was born at Whitco, Kentucky, December 8, 1944. She entered eternal life Saturday, December 30, 2023 at her residence in Whitco, Kentucky being 79 years and 22 days of age at the time of her passing.
Hazel was a member of the Dry Fork Pentecostal Church at Dry Fork, Kentucky. She enjoyed reading, going to church and quilting, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a loving son, Michael (Ramona) Isom of Ermine, Kentucky, three daughters, Tonda Adams of Whitco, Kentucky, Jennifer (Michael) Absher of Whitco, Kentucky and Kellie Jo Ison of Louisville, Kentucky, two brothers, David Thomas of Leslie County,Kentucky and Harold Thomas of Van, Kentucky.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Danielle, Ashley, Nicole, Tonya, Kevin, Ryan, Adam and sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Hazel was preceded in death by two brothers, George Thomas and Larry Thomas.
