Obituary for Colleen Cornett Pack
Colleen Cornett Pack, daughter of the late Chester and Grace Gilley Cornett was born at Big Branch, Kentucky, January 4, 1946. She entered eternal life, Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital being 77 years, 3 months and 18 days of age at the time of her passing.
Colleen was married to Kenny Pack and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Pack of Cowan, Kentucky. A son, Freddie ( Mary Jane) Cornett of Franklin, Ohio. One daughter, Kathy (Jackie) Trent of Cowan, Kentucky. Two brothers; Cooley Cornett of Letcher, Kentucky and Jimmy Cornett of Jeremiah, Kentucky. Three sisters; Faye Lawson of Coeburn, Virginia, Genita Calihan of Roxanna, Kentucky and Josephine Cornett of Morgan, North Carolina.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; Dexter Bailey, Elijah Trent, Isaiah Trent, Cheyenne Madden, Katona Caudill, Shumaya Brown, Timothy Bailey, Jesse Perkins, Makayla Bird, Hannah Miller, Dylan Myers, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Colleen was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Bailey and a brother, Argeana Cornett.
