Obituary for Ricky Polly
Ricky Polly, son of the late Richard Polly and Emma Fields Polly was born March 26, 1952 in Knott County, Kentucky. He passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 70 years, 9 months and 15 days of age at the time of his passing.
Ricky married Linda King December 26, 1973 in Clintwood, Virginia. He enjoyed going to church, working in his garden, spending time with his family and friends especially his dog, Angel. He was a member and deacon at the Whitco Free will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Polly of Whitesburg, Kentucky. a daughter Christy (Jody) Adams of Craft Colly, Kentucky; a son, James (Angel) Polly of Whitesburg, Kentucky; a sister Paula (Jerry) Matney of Gloucester, Virginia. A granddaughter, Kristen Russell. A special friend, Larry Lynn.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Ray Polly, a sister Patsy King and a special friend Fitch Carter.
