Obituary for Donnie Wayne Quillen
Donnie W. Quillen, son of the late Sylvester and Opal Holbrook Quillen was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, November 11, 1949. He entered eternal life Wednesday September 28, 2022 at his residence in Neon, Kentucky being 72 years,10 months and 18 days of age at the time of his passing.
Donnie was a US Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam war where he received the Purple Heart. He was a loving grandfather and a great friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially his grandson whom was the love of his life.
He is survived by a loving daughter, Amber Quillen of Pound, Virginia, a sister, Sheila Hall of Jenkins, Kentucky, a special friend; Chester "Penny" Johnson of Neon, Kentucky, grandson Kaiden Quillen of Pound, Virginia.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
