Obituary for Shelia Lewis
Shelia Alicia Lewis, daughter of the late Abe and Elease Smedley Wampler was born February 20, 1953 in Seco, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 68 years, 8 months and 29 days of age at the time of her passing.
She was married to Gordy Lewis who preceded her in death in 1997. Shelia was a member of the Kings Chapel Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by a son, Lance (Margaret) Lewis of Monticello, Kentucky. Two brothers; Frank Wampler of Michigan City, Indiana and James Wampler of Kettering, Ohio. Seven grandchildren; Serenity, Ethan, Alycia, Dalton, Hayden, and Chelsey.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by two sons; Kace Lewis and Jim Lewis. Four brothers; Tony Wampler, Tammy Wampler, Cecil Wampler, Curtis Wampler and Jackie Wampler. Five sisters; Larue Wampler, Saundra Wampler, Lelia Burton, Cleo Holbrook and Phyllis Thacker.
