Obituary for David L. Anderson
David L. Anderson, son of the late Shade and Bernice Johnson Anderson was born in Fleming, Kentucky, January 14, 1954. He entered eternal life Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Illinois being 67 years, 8 months and 27 days of age at the time of his passing.
David enjoyed his time coaching little league baseball in Neon, Kentucky and playing cards, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son, daughter-in-law and his grandbabies. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his loving son, David (Jackie) Anderson, Jr of Decatur, Illinois, a sister, Nina Collier of Winchester, Kentucky and two brothers, Dennis Anderson of Jenkins, Kentucky and Greg Anderson of Rockhouse, Kentucky.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ava, and Abigail Anderson and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by four brothers, Kenny Anderson, Astor Anderson, James (JC) Anderson and Aaron (AC) Anderson and two sisters, Nancy Fields and Evelyn Tackett.
