Obituary for Goldie M. Tyree
Goldie M. Tyree, daughter of the late William Buster Gibson and Mary Alice Allen Gibson was born in Harveyton, Kentucky, March 14, 1944. She entered eternal life Friday, July 16, 2021 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being seventy seven years, four months and two days of age at the time of her passing.
Goldie married Clyde Roger Tyree, June 22 1974 in Clintwood, Virginia. She worked for the state of Kentucky for forty three years retiring in 2007. She enjoyed Nascar, book keeping and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. She enjoyed many things but, spending time with family and friends is what she enjoyed most especially her grandson which she adored.
She is survived by her loving husband, Clyde Roger Tyree of Smoot Creek, Kentucky. A daughter, Sharon Marilee "John" Zulick of Berea, Kentucky. Three sisters, Wanda "James" Fields of Berea, Kentucky, Ruth Madden of Isom, Kentucky and Patty " Doug" Gentry of Winchester, Kentucky. Four brothers, Tommy "Debbie" Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Boyd "Susie" Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Winston "Cleta" Gibson of Isom, Kentucky, Luther Gibson of Isom, Kentucky and Bennett "Ilene" Gibson of Redfox, Kentucky.
Also surviving is a grandson, Blake Harrison Zulick and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, John R. Gibson and Clarence Gibson.
