Betty Lou Easterling Banks, daughter of the late McKinley Johnson And Icy Mae Sowards Johnson was born in McRoberts, Kentucky, February 9, 1941. She entered eternal life Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 80 years and 1 day of age at the time of her passing.
Betty married Jesse Banks November 19, 2000 at Clintwood, Virginia. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Banks of McRoberts, Kentucky. A daughter, Pamela Rose of Millstone, Kentucky. A son, Larry Easterling of Millstone, Kentucky. Two brothers, Jimmy Johnson and George Johnson both of New Lexington, Ohio.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Matt (Leslie) Maggard, Corey Easterling and Jacob Easterling. Six great-grandchildren, Addyson Blevins, Kyndall Blevins, Scarlett Oneil Maggard, Eden Brees Maggard, Amelia Holmes and Christina Sherese Gail Holmes.
She is preceded in death by to brothers, Bernie Dale Johnson and John Morgan Johnson.
