Obituary for Ricky Lane Hatton
Rickey Lane Hatton, 38, of Inverness, FL passed away unexpectedly on his father’s birthday, June 17, 2017. He was born on October 20, 1978 in Whitesburg, KY to Brenda Watts Hatton and the late Rickey G. Hatton. He moved to Crystal River with his family in 1990. Rickey Lane was a hard working family man with a heart of gold who was loyal to everyone he loved. Some of his favorite things in life were being silly and making people laugh and he treasured spending time with family and friends. He always had the biggest smile on his face that would light up any room he entered. He never met a stranger and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was a supervisor at Mann-I-Cure Lawn Service and Landscaping and took great pride in his work. He is preceded in death by his father Rickey G. Hatton and baby brother Mark Hatton. He is survived by his loving wife Samantha Hatton, his precious daughter Stephanie (Hatton) Lovell who he lovingly referred to as “Peanut”, his mother Brenda Watts Hatton who he adored and was the apple of his eye, his sisters; Kristi Shawn Handley and husband Bobby and Natasha Hope Brundon, ne Hatton, his nephews; J.C. Brundon and Kaleb Brundon, his great nephews; Jace and Aydan Brundon, and many life-long friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday June 25th beginning at 12 Noon with a prayer service at 1 PM in the Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 1901 SE Hwy 19, Crystal River, FL . A celebration of life will follow until 4 PM at Manatee Lanes, 7715 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy. Crystal River, FL.
