Billy Wayne Spangler, son of the late William Howard Spangler and Anna Delores Messer Spangler was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 57 years 10 months and 28 days of age at the time of his passing.
Billy was married to Denise Spangler. She passed away March 8, 2017. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Billy was an avid Nascar fan.
He is survived by a son, Billy Wayne Spangler Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky. One step-son; Brandon Gibson of Kentucky. One step-daughter; Tanesha Fields of Cowan, Kentucky. One brother, Timothy Wade Spangler of Mayking, Kentucky. Three sisters; Donna (Buddy) Brock of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Alta (Scotty) Coots of Eljay, Georgia and Linda Branson of Cowan, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn his passing.
Billy was preceded in death by two brothers; Jimmy Spangler and Damon Spangler. Two sisters; Sandra Couch and Jacquelion Adams.
