Obituary for Yvonne Tackett
Yvonne Tackett, daughter of the late Lee Ochra and Della Amburgey Sexton was born Beaver Dam, Kentucky, February 18, 1938. She entered eternal life Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 81 years, 5 months and 21 days of age at the time of her passing.
Yvonne was married to the late Efford Tackett April 28, 1960. He passed away January 20, 2019. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her. Yvonne enjoyed quilting and going to church.
She is survived by one son, Alan Duane Tackett of West Chester, Ohio. One brother, John Sexton of Isom, Kentucky. Two sisters, Alice Mason and Anna Lee Thomas both of Colson, Kentucky.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Bradley Alan, Ryan Alexander, Jacquelyn, Alexa and Jason Adam. One great-granddaughter, Charlotte Rose and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Yvonne was preceded in death by three sisters, Marie Adams, Beatrice Banks Tuttle and Arlene McCullough. Six brothers, Cecil Sexton, Lee Sexton, Landon Sexton, Lenville Sexton, Bradley Sexton and Charles Sexton.
