Obituary for Winston Johnson
Winston Johnson, son of the late Coy and Rebecca Calhoun Johnson was born in Bevinsville, Kentucky, February 17, 1946. He entered eternal life Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 70 years, 6 months and 1 day of age at the time of his passing.
Winston was married to Flora Ann Cook Johnson, January 8, 1964. He was a member of the Hemphill Church Of Christ at Hemphill, Kentucky since 1975. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather ,brother and friend to all that knew him. Winston enjoyed his woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Johnson of Goose Creek, Kentucky. One son, Bobby (Christine) Johnson of Goose Creek, Kentucky. A daughter, Lana Johnson of Cumberland, Kentucky. Two brothers; Bob (Irene) Johnson of Homer, Michigan and Arthur (Billy Jean) Johnson of Neon, Kentucky. Three sisters; Geraldine Johnson of Lagrange, Indiana. Gwen (Pig) Hall of Neon, Kentucky and Christine Johnson of Hampton, Virginia.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; Brent Johnson, Blake Johnson, Brad Johnson, Courtney Johnson Caudill, Zachary Johnson and Clayton (Fuzz) Johnson. Four great grandchildren; Kannan Johnson, Koby Johnson, Sawyer Caudill and Kennedi Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Winston was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
