Obituary for Wilma Jean Bennett
Wilma Jean Bennett, daughter of the late Archie and Herma Collins Sexton was born on October 14, 1929 in Letcher County, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 84 years, 1 month and 6 days of age at the time of her passing. She was married to Arthur Bennett on March 6, 1976 in Clintwood, Virginia, whom preceded her in death on March 27, 2000. She enjoyed going to church, serving the lord and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Little Colly Pentecostal Church and attended the West Liberty Church of God. She is survived by two sons; Gary Joe Bennett of Little Colly, Kentucky and Jerry Wayne Hensley of Hazard, Kentucky. One daughter, Brenda Bennett Brown of West Liberty, Kentucky. Three sisters; Mary Pugh of Red Fox, Kentucky, Velva Dean Bailey of Isom, Kentucky and Rosa Lee Breeding of Isom, Kentucky. Ten grandchildren; Scott Brown, Kimberly North, Beverly Burns, Shannon Dick, Misty Hensley, Lisa Elliot, Celesta Pugh, Rodney Hensley, Kenneth Hensley and Derek Hensley. Nine great- grandchildren; Makayla, Emily, Brittney, Kaleigh, Jaden, Joshua, Jakob, Hannah and Mariya. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Ann Bennett. Three brothers; Charles Lawton Sexton, Douglas Ray Sexton and Kenneth Reed Sexton.
