Wilma J. Taylor, daughter of the late William and Hattie Hall Dishman was born October 20, 1956 in Neon, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 60 years, 10 months and 2 days of age at the time of her passing.
Wilma married Robbie Taylor August 23, 1975 in Hemphill, Kentucky. She enjoyed going to church, sewing, cooking, singing, shopping and spending time with her family. She would always say I loved all of it. Wilma became a Christian at the young age of 15. She was a devoted church member for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Robbie Taylor of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One son, Robbie Dewayne (Debbie) Taylor of Elko, Nevada. Two daughters; Allison (Jason) Akers of Jenkins, Kentucky and Alicia Taylor of Johnson City, Tennessee. Three sisters; Barbara Potter of Jackhorn, Kentucky, Patricia (Morgan) Bates of Jenkins, Kentucky and Judy (Astor) Fields of Cowan, Kentucky. Five grandchildren; Alexus Rose, Emilee Taylor, Isaiah McCall, Jase Akers and Alexa Akers. A father and mother-in-law; Giles and Candus Boggs of Dandridge, Tennessee. A special caretaker, Elizabeth Sexton of Payne Gap, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Lawson Dishman, Johnny Dishman and Jackie Dishman. Four sisters; Linda Sturgill, Virginia Bates, Nannie Dishman and Martha Dishman.
