Obituary for William (Ernie) Sexton
William Earnest "Ernie" Sexton son of the late Eli and Arminda Tolliver Sexton was born in Letcher County, Kentucky June 25, 1938. He entered eternal life on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 76 years, 6 months and 4 days of age at the time of his passing. Ernie was married to Mable McFall Sexton, October 19, 1959. He was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for over 15 years. Ernie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed playing musical instruments, fishing, being in the outdoors and Ginseng hunting. He is survived by his loving wife, Mabel Sexton of Neon, Kentucky. Two sons; Mark (Heather) Sexton of Brookwood, Alabama and Timothy (Colleen) Sexton of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Two daughters; Teresa Ann Mullins of McRoberts, Kentucky and Christine (Bobby) Johnson of Neon, Kentucky. One sister, Faye Hamel of Arizona. One brother, Billy Tolliver of Vanceburg, Kentucky. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Ernie was preceded in death by two great grandchildren Harlan and Hayleigh. A sister, Doloris Adams.
