Obituary for William "Bill" Banks
Bill Banks, son of the late William Clifton and Gladys Montgomery Banks was born in Paintsville, Kentucky, January 3, 1964. He entered eternal life Friday, August 19, 2022 at his residence on Little Cowan, Kentucky being 58 years, 7 months and 16 days of age at the time of his passing.
Bill was a loving brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him. He really enjoyed spending time with his family. Bill enjoyed his job working in the Letcher County School System. He also was an avid boxing fan.
He is survived by his loving sister, Kay (Dave) Hammond of Pikeville, Kentucky; two nieces, Stephanie (Jeff) Hogg of Georgetown, Kentucky and Heather (Phillip) Birchfield of Pikeville, Kentucky; a great nephew, Jordan Ilic of Clarksville, Tennessee; a great niece, Bailey Birchfield of Pikeville, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
