Obituary for Wendell Ray Cook
Wendell Ray Cook, son of Doug and Rose Keel Cook was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, October 30, 1967. He entered eternal life Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at his residence in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 55 years, 11 months and 10 days of age at the time of his passing.
Wendell was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed carpentry work, four wheeling, fishing and hunting but most of all spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents; Doug and Rose Cook of Kings Creek, Kentucky. One son, Dillion Cook of Kings Creek, Kentucky. One daughter, Brooke King of Louisville, Kentucky. One sister, Tammy (Roy) Williams of Millstone, Kentucky. Three brothers; Doug (Eugenia) Cook Jr. of Cowan, Kentucky, Tony Cook of Kings Creek, Kentucky, like a brother, Jonathan Cook of Princeton, West Virginia and Boe (Jamie) Collier of Isom, Kentucky.
Also surviving are nine nephews; Andy, Jonathan, Kegan, Brandon, Nicholas, Alex, Jarred, Joe, Jordan and Ray. Five Nieces; Diane, Trish, Emiley, Bethany and Kayla and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Cook.
