Obituary for Wayne Collins
Wayne Collins, son of the late Robert Collins and Lilly Mullins Collins was born in Van Lear, Kentucky, October 19, 1928. He entered eternal life Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 92 years of age at the time of his passing.
Wayne married Joyce Dingus Collins. She passed away May 2, 2012. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid UK fan. He was a loving father, grandfather and great friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Sharon Bevins of Jenkins, Kentucky. A son-in-law, Mark Johnson of Jenkins, Kentucky. Four grandchildren, Chris Puckett, Lori Mullins, Logan Johnson, Emily Johnson. Seven great-grandchildren, Brook, Josh, Briana, Christopher, Lane, Lincoln and Lawson.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Johnson, Two brothers, Robert Collins and Denver Collins. A sister, Virginia Westfall.
