Walter Parnell Fields, son of the late James Obie and Jenette Fields was born on February 5, 1961 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. He entered eternal life on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 being 54 years, 1 month and 26 days of age at the time of his passing. He married Nancy Emily Anderson Fields who preceded him in death. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, looking for ginseng and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by two sons; Jamie (Janeal) Anderson of Payne Gap, Kentucky and Jason Parnell Fields of Neon, Kentucky. Five brothers; Orville Lee Fields of Cowan, Kentucky, James Dennis Fields of Cowan, Kentucky, Joseph Gene Fields of Cowan, Kentucky Leonard Wayne Fields of Richmond, Kentucky and Larry Thomas Fields of Kingscreek, Kentucky. Four sisters; Louanna Doris Kellogg Fields of Clay City, Kentucky, Angela Jeanette Roberts of Conway, South Carolina, Pamela Ann Aumiller of Iowa and Erma Lynn McIntosh of Cowan, Kentucky. Three granddaughters; Raygan Lashaed Anderson, Kennedy Jade Anderson and Keagan Emily Anderson. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by two brothers; Corbin Dean Fields and Alex Gregory Fields. One sister, Patricia Ann Fields. One granddaughter, Baby Slone.
