Virginia "Madelyn" Isaac, daughter of the late Virgil and Mary Newsom Tackett was born at Jenkins, Kentucky, September 14, 1953, She entered eternal life Friday, February 27, 2026 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky being 72 years, 5 months and 13 days of age at the time of her passing.
Madelyn was married to the late Dock Isaac. he passed away April 14, 2006. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and great friend to all that knew her. Madelyn enjoyed being around people and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was a member of the Old Elkhorn Regular Baptist Church at Shelby Gap, Kentucky.
She is survived by six sons, Roger "Red" (Kim) Isaac, Adam Isaac, Devin (Emily) Isaac all of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Earnie (Steph) Isaac of Winchester, Kentucky, Jordan (Daria) Isaac and Gage Isaac also of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, two daughters, Autumn (Skyler) Isaac of Richmond, Kentucky and Trisha (Hunter) Tackett of Jenkins, Kentucky, three sisters, Earnestine Wright of Dorton, Kentucky, Teresa (Johnny Earl) Potter of Shelby Gap, Kentucky and Sherry (Fritz) Christ of Charleston, West Virginia, a brother Jeff Tackett of Jenkins, Kentucky
Also surviving are seven grandchildren Lakrisha, Clint, Asteria, Sarah, Jessie, Kaiden and Jaxon, two great grandchildren, Arias, Ivory and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Madelyn was preceded in death by a brother Milton Ray Tackett.
