Obituary for Vera Sue Raleigh Caudill
Vera Sue Raleigh Caudill, daughter of the late Silas and Ora V. Mullins Fields was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky September 11, 1937. She entered eternal life Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her residence in Cowan, Kentucky being 79 years, 11 months and 20 days of age at the time of her passing.
Vera was married to the late David Paul Raleigh, he passed away December 15, 1973. She later married Thomas Roddie Caudill, he entered eternal life February 1986. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her. Vera was a wonderful loving mamaw to many.
She is survived by her two loving daughters, Rhonda Logan and Tammie McIntosh both of Cowan, Kentucky. One son, David (Margie) Raleigh of Cowan, Kentucky. One brother, Mack Fields of Florida. Three sisters, Lila (Perry) Apkins, Stella (David) Asher both of Florida and Judy (Charles) Kelly of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Paul (Monica) McIntosh, Britney (Chris) Smith, June (Shannon) Childers, Clarissa Herring, Matthew Raleigh, Samantha (Kevin) Ison and Zachery Raleigh. Nine great-grandchildren, Bailey, Addison, Skylar, Shawn, Howard, Lexi, Noah, Noah, Benjamin and Baby Bundle.
Vera was 1 of 13 children, 4 living and 9 now rejoicing with our father in Heaven.
