Obituary for Vauldra Holbrook
Vauldra Holbrook, daughter of the late Joe and Betsy Adams Craft was born in Letcher County, Kentucky February 9, 1923. She entered eternal life Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at her residence in Mayking, Kentucky being 89 years, 3 months and 7 days of age at the time of her passing. Vauldra was married to the late Curtis Holbrook, He passed away in 1968. She enjoyed going to church, listening to christian music and devoting her evenings to bible reading. She also loved gardening, quilting, sewing and spending time with all of her grandchildren. She is survived by a son, Anthony Holbrook of Bowral, New South Wales, Austrailia. One brother, Joe Curtis of Murphysboro, Tennessee. A sister, Nancy Walton of Huberheights, Ohio. Three grandchildren: Kimberly Berry of Mayking, Kentucky; Jonathan Fields of Hazard, Kentucky and Regina Lewis of North Vernon, Indiana. Also surviving are six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Vauldra was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.
