Obituary for Tom Boggs
Tom Boggs, son of the late Bradley and Mattie Scott Boggs was born in Letcher County, Kentucky May 26, 1960. He entered eternal life Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 53 years, 7 months and 4 days of age at the time of his passing. Tom married Belinda Newsom on June 6, 1982. He was a member of the Neon Area Days Commitee and Water Commisioner in Neon. He was always known as a hard worker and loved helping other people anyway that he could. He is survived by his wife, Belinda Boggs of Whitaker, Kentucky. One son, Thomas Boggs Jr. (TJ) of Whitaker, Kentucky. One daughter, Matalyn "Mattie" Boggs of Whitaker, Kentucky. Two brothers; Bill Boggs of Lexington, Kentucky and Henry Boggs of McRoberts, Kentucky. Four sisters; Evelyn Rutherford of Lexington, Kentucky, Irene Watts of Jenkins, Kentucky, Imogene Fleming of Jackhorn, Kentucky and Martha Roberts of Pound, Virginia. A dog, Leo. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Bob, Jim and Bertley. Three sisters; Loreen, Christine and Faye.
