Steven Gregory Nickels, son of Eddie and Wanda Adams Nickels was born on November 14, 1967 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He entered eternal life Wednesday, April 11 2018 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 50 years, 4 months and 11 days of age at the time of his passing.
Steven was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was a member of the Breathitt Masonic Lodge# 649. Steven was a Christian and enjoyed many things in life such as camping, playing guitar, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all that knew him.
He is survived by his parents; Eddie and Wanda Nickels of Mayking, Kentucky. Two sons; Steven Ryan (Felicia) Nickels of Georgetown, Kentucky and Tyler Gregory of Payne Gap, Kentucky. A daughter, Kimberly Lane (Ted) Day of Hazard, Kentucky. One brother, Jeff (Michelle) Nickels of Thornton, Kentucky. One sister, Alisha (Ricky) Bowling of Dorton, Kentucky. Six grandchildren; Brooklyn, Tayven, Mackenna, Misha, Mena, and Molly.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
