Obituary for Steve Edward Williams
Steve Edward Williams, son of the late Robert and Laura Mullins Williams was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, July 31, 1932. He entered eternal life Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital being 92 years, 7 months and 16days of age at the time of his passing.
Steve was married to Nell Everidge Williams September 10, 1955. She passed away November 17, 2017. He was a hard working man centered his life around faith and family. Steve had a great love for the out doors and nature. A lifetime of coon hunting and fishing were some of his favorite memories. He especially loved visits from a wild deer, who brought great joy to Steve and his wife for many years. In his later years, he enjoyed nature from his front porch feeding and watching over the wild birds and squirrels. His first job was with Electric Machine as a supervisor over trucking for over 23 years. For the next 25 years he as a President of Western Dominion and Eastern Dominion Coal Companies. He formed a long lasting friendship with each and everyone he worked with.
Steve is survived by his loving daughter, Shelia (Oscar) Hamm of Nicholasville, Kentucky, two grandsons, Steven (Nikki) Hamm of Lexington, Kentucky and Justin (Ashley) Hamm of Richmond, Kentucky.
Also surviving are Steve's neighbors and special friends, Sonny and Faye Martin and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Steve was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Jane Adams and Marsha Collins. A brother Bobby Williams.
