Obituary for Shirley Gibson
Shirley Ann Gibson, daughter of the late Little and Mazie Whitaker Caudill was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, April 15, 1948. She entered eternal life, Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 77 years, 7 months and 15 days of age at the time of her passing.
Shirley was marred to the late Dennis R. "Duke" Gibson, he passed away October 2, 1998. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great friend to all that knew him. Shirley was an avid UK sports fan and Nascar fan.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Coman) Gibson of Jeremiah, Kentucky and Melanie (David) Mullins of Bean Station, Tennessee. A son, Joey (Virginia) Ramsey of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Montana, Briana, Sam, Jordan, Andrew, Dalton, Kyle, Bryan, Jake, and Brooklyn, five great grandchildren, Madison, Axel, Meredith, Elly, Kai and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Shirley was preceded in death by a sister, Vita Caudill.
