Obituary for Shirley Ann Sparks
Shirley Ann Sparks , daughter of the late Samuel and Alene Fleming Mullins was born May 17, 1943 in Beefhide, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her residence in Mayking, Kentucky being 77 years, 4 months and 24 days of age at the time of her passing.
Shirley married Windle "Buck" Sparks on July 19, 1963. She was a member of Thornton Old Regular Baptist Church in Mayking, Kentucky. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Windle "Buck" Sparks of Mayking, Kentucky. One son, Keith Allen (Michelle) Sparks of Bardstown, Kentucky. One daughter, Tammie Sparks of Mayking, Kentucky. Two brothers; Donald (Shirley) Mullins of Bean Station, Tennessee and Danny Mullins of Knoxville, Tennessee. Five grandchildren; Derek (Katie) Cornett, Austin (Stephine) Cornett, Lane Cornett, Buckley (Ann) Sparks and Presley Michelle Sparks.
Also surviving are six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eula M. Rouse. Four brothers; Johnny Mullins, Phillip Mullins, James Mullins and Bobby Mullins.
