Obituary for Shelby Jean Sandlin
Shelby Jean Sandlin, daughter of the late Riley & Clarenda Miles was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky on April 4, 1938. She entered eternal life Friday, February 23, 2024 at her residence being 85 years, 10 months and 19 days of age at the time of her passing.
Jean was married to the late Eligha Sandlin. He passed away December 15, 2011. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her. She enjoyed reading her bible, going to church, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters; Cathy (Tommy) Stanley of Radcliff, Kentucky and Delana Maggard of Cowan, Kentucky. One son, Roosevelt JR (Robin) Sandlin of Morristown, TN. Two sisters; Annalean Maggard of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Rosealee Earl of Indiana. Two brothers; Kayru Miles of Cowan, Kentucky and Riley JR. Miles of Cowan, Kentucky.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; Tommy Stanley JR., Matthew Stanley, Christopher Sandlin, Byron Sandlin, Alyssa Fleming and Tashauna Maggard. Eight Great Grandchildren; Andrew, Patton, Aubree, Arabella, Kayden, Emma and Riverlyn and Serenity.
Jean was proceeded in death by her husband, Eligha Sandlin. Four brothers; Larry Miles, Richard Miles, Orville Miles, Arnold V. Miles. Four sisters; Jenette Fields, Shirley, Garret, Elva Brown and Lois Tharp.
