Obituary for Shelba Paxton
Shelba Paxton, daughter of the late Leslie and Lona Hammonds McFall was born April 7, 1941 in Neon, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky being 75 years and 19 days of age at the time of her passing.
She was married to the late James Tony Paxton, who preceded her in death. She was the cafeteria manager at the Martha Jane Potter school for 42 years. She was a member of the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church in Haymond, Kentucky. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, her yard and spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by two daughters; Tonia A. Yonts and Shelia Paxton both of Goosecreek, Kentucky. Two brothers; Leslie McFall Jr. of Fleming Neon, Kentucky and Frank McFall of Goosecreek, Kentucky. Two sisters; Lola Taylor of Cynthiana, Kentucky and Ruth Ann Orman of Dearborn, Michigan. Two grandchildren; Joseph Yonts and Tasha Brown. Two great grandchildren; Jaydence Brown and Braylan Brown.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry McFall. Two sisters; Marlene Sexton and Linda Bears.
