Obituary for Sara Nease
Sara Nease, daughter of the late Jim Adams & Bonnie Franklin Adams was born in Estill County, Kentucky on June 13, 1926, making her stay on earth 86 years, 3 months and 22 days of age at the time of her passing. Sara was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesburg. She was active in the Young At Heart, WMU and Winsome Sunday School class. Sara also lovingly volunteered her time at the Letcher County Food Pantry. Sara was a devoted wife and mother giving love where ever she was. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 32 years Leonard H. Nease who passed away on November 1, 1980. Sara is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jerry) Nease of Ermine, Kentucky. Two grandchildren, Jonathan Bowen of Lexington, Kentucky, Kristi Skeens of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One great-grandchild, Jasper Bowen of Lexington, Kentucky. Two sisters; Betty (Wiley B.) Stamper of Mallie, Kentucky, Loraine (Charlie) Combs of Nicholasville, Kentucky. One brother, Estill (Nancy) Adams of Mallie, Kentucky. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Sara was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Skeens, A brother Cecil Adams and sister, Nell Swanson.
