Obituary for Sammy Taylor
Sammy (Sambo) Taylor, son of the late James and Inez Collins Taylor was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on June 29, 1958. He entered eternal life Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital being 55 years, 11 months and 2 days of age at the time of his passing. Sammy was married to the late Francis Britton Taylor, who passed away on April 3, 2012. He enjoyed watching westerns and UK sports. Sammy was a lovivng father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. He is survived by four sons; William Holbrook and Dustin Holbrook of Ermine, Kentucky, Harold Spencer Britton of Smith, Kentucky and Jimmy Shepherd of Corbin, Kentucky. Four daughters; Veronica Williams of Morristown, Tennessee; Rebecca Holbrook of Viper, Kentucky; Francis Ramsey of Bell County, Kentucky and Brandy Hensley of Lexington, Kentucky. Four sisters; Norene Adams and Patann Taylor of Ermine, Kentucky, Norma Hall of Neon, Kentucky and Billy Deane Taylor of Tennessee. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Sammy was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Taylor.
