Obituary for Sally Lou Sexton
Sally Lou Sexton, daughter the late Henry and Ollie Givens Cook was born at Whitesburg, Kentucky, July 26, 1934. She entered eternal life Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hoapital in Whitesburg, Kentucky, being 88 years, 8 months and 17 days of age at the time of her passing.
Sally was married to the late Ralph Sexton. He passed away September 5, 1982. She was a loving mother, grandmther, sister and great friend to all that knew . Sally enjoyed watching TV and talking to her sisters on the phone, but most of all she was a child of God.
She is survived by a son, Randy Sexton of Whitesburg, Kentucky; three daughters, Carolyn (Donald) Cummings of Cowan, Kentucky, Brenda Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Shelia (Joe) Adams of Cowan, Kentucky; two sisters, Henrietta Adams of Michigan and Wanda Collins of Campbranch, Kentucky.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Donald, James, Shelly, Jodi, Tiffany, Angel, Jeannie, Thomas, Adam, Garth, Nicole, Michael, and Sandy; sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives to mourn her passing.
Sally was preceded in death by two sons, Mike Sexton and Ansley Sexton; a daughter, Garret Sexton, Four grandchildren, Ralph Sexton, Christopher Sexton, David Sexton and Cynthia Sexton and a son-in-law, Larry Adams.
