Obituary for Rubin Lewis
Rubin Lewis, son of the late William and Delilia Coots Lewis was born June 8, 1930 at Viper, Kentucky. He entered eternal life Thursday, April 13, 2023 at his residence in Linefork, Kentucky being 92 years, 10 months and 5 days of age at the time of his passing.
Rubin was married to the late Odessa Jones Lewis. She passed away September 16, 2017. He was a loving father, grandfather and great friend to all that knew him. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing and believed in baptist faith.
He is survived by a loving daughter, Ruby Partin of Linefork, Kentucky; a son, Michael (Tammy) Lewis also of Linefork, Kentucky.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Nikita Partin, Jessica Durant, Keith Adams, Emily (Matt) Lewis, Terra Partin, Gary Partin, Jr, Patrick Adams; eleven great-grandchildren, Tymon, Adron, Apollo, Amory, Azyrel, Michael, Caden, London Jr, Allie, Kolton, Hayden and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Rubin was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Dock Lewis; three brothers, Boyd Lewis, Homer Lewis and Lee Lewis; four sisters, Ida Cornett, Mallie Lewis, Elsie Pence and Marie Brashears.
