Obituary for Ronnie M. Smith
Ronnie Marcus Smith, son of the late Paul and Bonny Boggs Smith was born on September 2, 1953 in Letcher County, Kentucky. He entered eternal life on Sunday, March 23, 2014 being 60 years, 6 months and 21 days of age at the time of his passing. He married Nancy Boggs Smith March 30, 1973 in Tennessee. She passed away on January 27, 2006. Ronnie was the Associate Pastor at the Greater Mount Sinai Church in Lynch, Kentucky. He worked as a Mining Foreman in the coal mines for Arch Coal for many years. He enjoyed carpentry and working with his hands he was an artist. He enjoyed music, playing in the Marching Band while attending Whitesburg High School. He is survived by a sister, Lois Ann Davison of Isom, Kentucky. Two very special friends; Daryl Boggs of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Brian McCowan of Eolia, Kentucky. Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Boggs Smith. A brother, Carlos Paul Smith.
