Obituary for Ronnie G. Phipps
Ronnie G. Phipps, son of the late Kelly and Gertrude Cecil Phipps was born in Fleming, Kentucky. July 31, 1949. He entered eternal life Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence in Millstone, Kentucky being 67 years, 4 months and 19 days of age at the time of his passing.
Ronnie was married to Gloria Cook Phipps, April 23, 1966. He was was a loving husband, father, brother and a great friend to all that knew him. Ronnie was a member of the 1964 State championship class A football team of Elkhorn City High School. He coached from 1981-1998 winning several championships in various sports. He always had a passion for classic cars and horses.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Phipps of Millstone, Kentucky. Two sons, Ronnie G. Phipps, Jr of Millstone, Kentucky and Randy L. (Deidra) of Paintsville, Kentucky. One daughter, Angela M. Phipps of Pippa Passes, Kentucky. Two brothers, Jack R. (Kathy) Hall of Bean Station, Tennessee and Mitchell (Janice) Phipps of Millstone, Kentucky. Two sisters, Joyce Isaac of Easley, South Carolina and Sandra (Johnny) Bentley of Cromona, Kentucky.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Austin, Matthew, Justin and Kristen and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Ronnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman Hall and Bob Hall and One sister, Greta Mullins.
