Obituary for Roland White
Roland White, son of the late Charlie and Maggie White was born in Payne Gap, Kentucky, August 13, 1943. He entered eternal life Friday, November 19, 2021 at his residence in Kona, Kentucky being 78 years, 3 months and 6 days of age at the time of his passing.
Roland married Lana Compton, June 21, 1967 in Clintwood, Virginia. She passed away September 28, 2021. He was a science teacher at The Fleming Neon Elementary School in Neon, Kentucky for many years. He enjoyed coaching football and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by a loving daughter, Brandi Joyce White of Kona, Kentucky, a son, Christopher Roland White of Kona, Kentucky.
Also surviving are three grandchildren, Megan Lynn White, Nathan Shane White, Emily White and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Noland White, two sisters Nan Lamont and Ruby Hall.
