Obituary for Roger Dale Adams
Roger Dale Adams, son of the late Jack and Virda Breeding Adams was born at Colson, Kentucky, July 28, 1948. He entered eternal life Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Hospital being 71 years, 3 months and 16 days of age at the time of his passing.
Roger was married to Beverly Hatton Adams, February 27, 1976. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all that knew him. Roger was a veteran serving in the United States Army where he served in Vietnam receiving two purple hearts and two bronze stars.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One son, Warren Dale Adams of Pikeville, Kentucky. Two adopted sons; Thurman Bumgarden of Pikeville, Kentucky and Tim Reed of Isom, Kentucky. Three brothers; Jerry (Diane) Adams and Mike Adams of Isom, Kentucky and Doug (Vivian) Adams of Morristown, Tennessee. Five sisters; Jackie Adams, June (TJ) Collins and Kaye (Manuel) Collins all of Isom, Kentucky, Phyliss (Terry) Sturgill of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Brenda (Gary) Fields of Pikeville, Kentucky.
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He leaves behind his best friend, T.J. Collins.
Roger was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Adams. His grandparents; Bill and Martha Adams.
