Obituary for Roger D. Polly
Roger D. Polly, son of the late Alonza Polly Sr. and Betty Kincer Polly was born at Mayking, Kentucky, July 4, 1948. He entered eternal life Monday, March 6, 2023 in Granger, Indiana being 74 years, 8 months and 2 days of age at the time of his passing.
Roger was married to the late Eleanor Faye Adams. She passed away November 6, 2013. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew him. Roger enjoyed playing the guitar and working on old cars.
He is survived by two daughters; Rhonda Gibson of Granger, Indiana and Shannon (Jason) Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky. Two brothers; Kenneth "Buck" Polly of Gibsonville, North Carolina and Lee (Judy) Polly of Hampshire, Illinois. One sister, Rowena Bond of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Also surviving are five grandchildren; Andy (Sammie), Anthony (Jamicha), Jon Michael, Taylor, Veronica and two great-grandchildren, Xavier, Anaise and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Roger is preceded in death by three brothers, Jack Polly, Jerome Polly and Alonzo Polly Jr. and three sisters, Helen Polly, Shannon Polly and Lydia LeSaint.
