Obituary for Ricky Spangler
Ricky Lee Spangler, son of the late Fred Spangler and Olene Boyd Spangler was born in Whitesburg. Kentucky, September 23, 1959. He entered eternal life Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Region Hospital in Whitesburg, Kentucky been 63 years and 14 days of age at the time of his passing.
Ricky married Dianna Kay Roberts in Clintwood, Virginia, June 4, 1977. He enjoyed fishing, horseback riding an spending time with family and friends especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dianna Kay Spangler of Cowan, Kentucky; two daughters, Marie (Denver) Maggard of Cowan, Kentucky and Cindy (Cameron) Moncrief of Lexington, Kentucky; three brothers, Craig (Candy) Spangler of Maysville, Kentucky, Alvin (Juanita) Spangler of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Kenny (Pam) Spangler of Lexington, Kentucky; three sisters, Sharon (Roger) Caudill of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Arbutus (Kenny) Sturgill of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Debbie (Leo) Scott of Cowan, Kentucky.
Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jonathan, Triton, Katelyn, Max, Julius, Ariana and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
He is preceded in death by a brother Mike Spangler.
