Obituary for Richard Mullins

Harold Richard Mullins, son of Harold Hubert Mullins and the late Violet Jean (Elkins) Mullins was born in Warsaw, Indiana on July 8, 1970 and entered eternal life on October 9, 2022 in his home surrounded with love.Richard was a member of Victory Temple Church of Thornton, Kentucky. He enjoyed many days listening to the word of God as he waited on his heavenly home. He owned his company, Mullins Construction, as a Building Contractor and Master Carpenter for twenty years. He personified the phrase "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." He used his talents and love for his wife and children to build their dream home.Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He spent his childhood in the woods being taught how to hunt and acquired many skills from his father. Over time, he improved those skills to pass onto his children. He traveled the country to hunt and fish. His love for the outdoors extended to hobbies including rock climbing, arrowhead hunting, exploring caves and any other adventure involving nature. He was an active member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and acted as President of the Little Shepherd Chapter.He is survived by his soul mate of thirty-one years, Andrea Dawn Mullins. Three daughters: Samantha Mullins, Kelsey (Cory) Harris, and Sidney Mullins. His father, Harold Mullins and five sisters: Debbie Davis, Joyce Stephens, Rita Balthis, Roxie Rose and Jackie Austin and father and mother-in-law: Harold and Mary Bolling.He leaves behind Carson, Silas, Atticus, Kinslee, Van, Blakely and Kayson who know him as "Pappy". Also surviving are five nephews, three nieces, four great-nephews and two great-nieces along with a host of other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his mother: Violet Jean Mullins. His only son: Richard Andrew Mullins. Sister-in-law: Gipsy Bolling and loving friend, Mike Harris.
