Obituary for Rev. Alonzo Polly
Rev. Alonzo Polly, son of the late Alonzo Polly, Sr and Betty Kincer Polly was born in Mayking, Kentucky , June 20, 1938. He entered eternal life Friday, December 1, 2017 at his residence in Mayking, Kentucky being 79 years, 5 months and 11 days of age at the time of his passing.
Alonzo was married to the late Carol Polly, she passed away February 3, 2013. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and a great friend to all that knew him. He was an US Army veteran having served in the Korean War. He loved to farm and was a past minister at the Mayking Regular Baptist Church in Mayking, Kentucky.
He is survived by his two loving daughters, Alicia Polly of Mayking, Kentucky and Gloria Kincer of Payne Gap, Kentucky. Three brothers, Kenneth Polly of Gibsonville, North Carolina, Roger Polly of Louisville, Kentucky and Lee (Judy) Polly of Hampshire, Illinois. One sister, Rowena (Comer) Bond of Cincinnati, Ohio. Three grandsons, Johnathan (Abby) Polly and Joey (Emily) Kincer both of Mayking, Kentucky. Three great-grandchildren, Luke Polly, Dylan Polly and Shealee Polly .
Also surviving are a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Alonzo was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Polly and Jerome Polly. Three sisters, Lydia La Saint, Shannon Polly and Helen Polly.
