Obituary for Rebecca Mildred Holbrook
Rebecca Mildred Holbrook, daughter of the late Golden and Anna Collins was born at Seco, Kentucky on October 27, 1953. She entered eternal life Sunday, September 4, 2022 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, being 68 years, 10 months and 7 days of age at the time of her passing.
Rebecca was married to Kenneth "K.O." Oliver Holbrook on August 7, 1971. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth "K.O." Oliver Holbrook of Mayking, Kentucky. One daughter, Kaya Carol (James) Holbrook of Whitesburg, Kentucky. One son, Kenneth Douglas Holbrook of Lexington, Kentucky. One brother, Jerry Ray Collins of Ice, Kentucky.
Also surviving are five granchildren: Parker, Hayley, Abby, Kayleigh, Kandyn Carson Stone and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Rebecca was preceded in death by three sisters: Aileen McGinnis, Laura Walkers and Carolyn Banks and two brothers: Ralph Collins and Ernest Collins.
