Obituary for Peggy Standifer Bentley
Peggy Standifer Bentley, daughter of the late Holbert and Sabrie Fields Standifer was born in Cowan, Kentucky, February 7, 1950. She entered eternal life on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital in Hazard, Kentucky being seventy two years, eight months and three days of age at the time of her passing.
Peggy married Allen Bentley in 1979 in Wise, Virginia. She enjoyed taking care of her home, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, sister and great friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Bentley of Whitesburg, Kentucky; two brothers, Jack Standifer of Whitesburg, Kentucky and Hiram Standifer of Topeka, Kansas.
Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She is preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Day and Julie Gibson.
