Obituary for Pearl H. Baker
Pearl Harlene Baker, daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle Brock Baker was born in Letcher County, Kentucky, August 29, 1956. She entered eternal life Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, North Carolina being 61 years, 5 months and 10 days of age at the time of her passing.
Pearl was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by a son, Rodney Wayne (Anna M.) Warren of Cumberland, Kentucky. Three daughters; Yvonne Odette (Daniel) Skeens and Jennifer Renee (John) Dunson both of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Glenna Virginia Rose (Grover) Amburgey of Cowan, Kentucky. Four brothers; James Sturgill of McHenry, Illinois, Rodney Sturgill and Benny Sturgill both of Eolia, Kentucky and Tommy Baker of Cumberland, Kentucky. Four sisters; Hannah Burke, Ossie Lewis, Maureen Church all of Eolia, Kentucky and Dorsey Brock of Whitesburg, Kentucky.
Also surviving are eight grandchildren; Nikkia, Tyler, Colton, Carlos, David, Isaiah, Lyliana and Shade and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Pearl was preceded in death by two granddaughters; Samantha White and Shahannah Rose White. Three sisters; Allie Mae Coots, Mary Gaye Sturgill and Shirley Virginia Lewis.
