Patty Sue Stewart, daughter of the late Carlos Amburgey and Oda Vance Amburgey was born in Neely, Kentucky, December 20, 1944. She entered eternal life Saturday, July 9, 2016 at her residence in Mayking, Kentucky being 71 years 6 months and 16 days of age at the time of her passin
Patty was a member of the Mayking Old Regular Baptist Church in Mayking, Kentucky. She enjoyed cooking, gardening,fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and a great friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by her loving son, Douglas John (Kim) Stewart of Mayking, Kentucky. Three daughters, Sharon (James) Taylor, Elizabeth Branham both of Mayking, Kentucky and Pearly (Audie) Fields,Sr. of Whitesburg, Kentucky. Five brothers, Homer Amburgey, George Amburgey, Rayburn Amburgey, LD Amburgey all Of Knott County, Kentucky and Bernie Amburgey of Vermont, Indiana. Three sisters, Ilene Taylor of Bedford, Indiana, Elsie Sturgill and Addie Jane Taylor both of Knott County, Kentucky.
Also survivng are 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
